Leo Son & The Q-tip Bandits w/ Special Guests, Baerd and Gentle Temper

Leo Son & The Q-Tip Bandits

Leo Son & The Q-Tip Bandits are a Groove-Centric Alt. Rock Trio from Boston, MA comprised of Leo Son, Claire Davis and Andrew Paolini. Founded in October of 2017, Leo, Claire, and Andrew merged paths in their first semester of college, where they began arranging and playing together. The trio blends together the colors of Jazz, the rhythms of Hip-Hop/R&B, the earnest songwriting of the Blues and the energy of Rock & Roll, drawing inspiration from artists like The Roots, A Great Big Pile of Leaves, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Hippo Campus.

BAERD is a progressive folk band from Boston, MA. Founded at Berklee College of Music, the group traces together influences from Jazz, Americana, Classical, R&B, and World Music. BAERD's lyricism and instrumental precision is inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, The Punch Brothers, and Radiohead.

Their debut album Progress, released on September 1st, 2016, explores the fragility of the moment and the relationship between people and time. Progress is a comment on the vastness of our own world and an immersive dive for BAERD fans new and old.

Gentle Temper

Gentle Temper is Ryan Meier and Marion Earley, an ocean-folk duo with a blues tide from the bayous of Boston, MA. Marion and Ryan met while attending college in Boston and began writing and playing together in their final year.  Their live sound builds on a sturdy foundation of lyrical storytelling & animated harmonies.

GT_ have opened for nationally touring acts LOLO, Bombadil, and 2014 NPR Favorite new artist The Family Crest.  In July 2017 they had the pleasure of performing at the annual Chikombuso Foundation for Widows & Orphans at the Jonathan Edwards Vineyard. In September, they won 1st place in the Katrina’s Singer/Songwriter Challenge and appeared on the Gloucester television series “Local Music Seen” shortly after.

The pair released “Sleep It Off: The Live EP” (link below) in December of 2017 alongside a coinciding documentary-style video. They are currently working on their first full length album, due out later this year.

“Wistful, harmony-drenched balladeers of the modern condition, these folks may become your new local favorites.” - Aeronaut Allston
