The Wicked Pickers is a wicked-good, Boston-based band crafting a hot acoustic mosaic of bluegrass/Americana, jazz instrumentals, foot-stomping fiddle jigs, and harmony vocal numbers from folk to soul. Say what? If Bonnie Raitt, Doc Watson, and Pat Metheny formed a band, it might sound a little bit like The Wicked Pickers. Their eclectic originals range from tight arrangements to loose jams, but they also rock some tunes you'll know by heart.
