Kaiti Jones, Terry Klein, Prateek

Kaiti Jones

Kaiti Jones has been making her home in the Boston folk scene since 2010. A native of Portland, Maine, she spent four years in Nashville, falling in love with Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, and Flannery O’Connor and gravitating toward her now beloved ballad form before returning to her northern roots.

Jones’ music is Americana soaked in melancholy, with the occasional foot stomper thrown in for good measure. Her voice is simultaneously earthy and ethereal, carrying the listener a few feet off the ground on a cloud of rich, sophisticated melodies while whispering truth and contemplating the human condition through good old-fashioned storytelling.

Terry Klein

Terry Klein is a performing songwriter with an unshakable faith in the power of songs to heal, connect, and inspire. His debut record, Great Northern, came out in April 2017 and has drawn accolades from master songwriters such as Rodney Crowell, Mary Gauthier, and Walt Wilkins. Songs from Great Northern have appeared on Folk and Americana radio stations across the United States and internationally and the record appeared on multiple “Ten Best” lists for 2017. Terry draws on the genius of Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, Guy Clark, and John Prine but he also looks to prose writers such as Chekhov, Flannery O'Connor, and David Foster Wallace, filmmakers like Wes Anderson, and painters like Edward Hopper for inspiration. He was selected as a Regional Finalist at the 2017 Kerrville Folk Festival. A Boston native and a recovering lawyer, Terry now

Prateek is a singer-songwriter from Boston, Massachusetts. After taking up songwriting in college, he got his start as a musician playing the famed Lizard Lounge Open Mic in Cambridge Massachusetts, usually every week. In 2016, he released his debut EP, “Walking in My Sleep,” recorded in a bedroom with only his guitar and two microphones. Since then, Prateek has played on stages and at festivals across the United States, including the Kerrville Folk Festival and Club Passim. His most recent single "Emma," has been described as "stripped-down, honest heartbreak” (Vanyaland), and is available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.
